Producer Amy Pascal revealed first details about the story of the upcoming Spider-Man 4 from Marvel with Tom Holland.
In order to stay as far away as possible from Sony's radioactive Spider-Verse, Spider-Man will continue to go a long way in the MCU. After his three solo films (and his three crossovers), the superhero played by Tom Holland is expected to return to service in 2026 in Avengers : Doomsdaythen in a fourth film Spider-Man which does not yet have an official title in ” Home ” something.
However, the story of this next installment remains a big question mark given the ending of No Way Home where, after a spell from Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), the whole world forgot the existence of Peter Parker. He therefore finds himself literally alone in the world and ends up moving into a studio in New York to continue his vigilante activities, the world not having forgotten Spider-Man.
And according to producer Amy Pascal, this will be the whole point of the film directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

Producer Amy Pascal revealed to Deadline first elements of the scenario of Spider-Man 4 and in particular the hangover of No Way Home from which Peter will obviously not have recovered:
“We have to deal with the fact that he decided to abandon the identity of Peter Parker to concentrate on that of Spider-Man, because it was too hard to be Peter Parker. So that’s what the film will be about. »
After abandoning the idea of finding MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), but also his studies, it would be a logical continuation for Peter, who no longer has either past or futureand therefore no more reason to exist outside of his costume (which he actually changed to formalize the breakup). But we are never safe from a plot twist to bring his girlfriend and his best friend back into the equation, and why not Happy, the Avengers and the rest of the universe.
On the other hand, Peter Parker will be back in 2025 on Disney+ with the animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. This creation by Jeff Trammell will retrace the origin story of the Spider-Man in the MCU, after it was left aside in the cinema. However, no release date has been revealed, unlike Spider-Man 4expected on July 22, 2026 in French theaters.
