Saje announces the cinema release of the docu-fiction film Guadalupe, Mother of humanity, on December 4. This film traces the story of the apparitions of Our Lady at Guadalupe in Mexico to the young Aztec Juan Diego. Even today, Our Lady of Guadalupe is the most venerated representation of Mary in the world. The sanctuary attracts millions of pilgrims every year.
This film also evokes the many miracles and secrets of the Tilma, this fabric which miraculously captured the image of the Virgin Mary and of which certain details could only be discovered with modern technologies (the star map on the mantle of the Virgin, the image reflected in the eyes of Our Lady…).
This is also the only appearance of a pregnant Notre-Dame. As such, she is considered the patroness of the pro-life movement and the film features mothers who have had abortions, converted by Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Through current and moving testimonies, this documentary film reveals to us the immense tenderness of the Mother of God for each of us.
