It is the story of a love that defies the ages, a passion capable of crossing time. Christopher Reeve, far from his Superman cape, plays Richard Collier, a playwright lacking inspiration who finds refuge at the Grand Hotel. There he discovers the portrait of Elise McKenna, an actress from the past, magnificently played by Jane Seymour. A deep fascination awakens within him, like a distant melody. An old woman, whisperedt “Come back to me”gives him a pocket watch. It is then that Richard understands: Elise, in the shadow of her last days, calls him through the veils of time.
