The American actor, known for performing all his stunts himself, shared a video revealing behind the scenes of the filming of the final part of the saga, Mission Impossible : the Final Reckoning
Running on the roof of a moving train, throwing yourself off a cliff, driving at high speed down a narrow street… These are the stunts that Tom Cruise has accustomed us to over his 43-year career. While it is currently running Mission Impossible : the Final Reckoning, the eighth installment of the franchise, the multi-awarded American actor gave a behind-the-scenes look at the filming to his nearly 13 million followers on Instagram.
“I can’t wait to share more with you”
A video, published this November 26 on the film’s dedicated account and immediately re-shared by the actor, shows the latter equipping himself before carrying out yet another stunt, underwater this time. Concentrated, with a closed face, the man who has lent his features to the secret agent Ethan Hunt since 1996 appears seated at the edge of a pool while several members of his team carry out the usual checks and final adjustments to his diving equipment .
In addition to this video, the American superstar posted, the same day, on the social network X, a photo of the rehearsal of an underwater scene. “The training and preparation put into this film is the culmination of everything that came before it. From the depths to the heavens, I can’t wait to share more with you,” he said in the caption. Mission Impossible : the Final Reckoning will be released in France on May 21, 2025.
