From next week, the Hanabi Seasons return with a winter program which will consist of seven films broadcast over the course of a week.
Les Saisons Hanabi are keen to share the love of Japanese cinema, by introducing French audiences to new cinematographic works. This 2024 edition will offer seven feature films previously unreleased here and will be inaugurated this Wednesday November 27.
The movie My Sunshine from of Hiroshi Okuyama will open the ball for this edition. The rest of the programming will be as follows:
– Thursday November 28: The Zen Garden of Naoko Ogigami
– Friday November 29: Selfish of Daishi Matsunaga
– Saturday November 30: In loop of Junta Yamagushi
– Sunday December 1st: The Go player of Kazuya Shiraishi
– Monday December 2: Until dawn of Shô Miyake
The closing film will be screened on Tuesday December 3 but will be a surprise screening. The identity of the feature film will therefore only be known on the day itself.
The Hanabi Seasons films will be screened in the Paris region and in the provinces. The list of cinemas participating in the festival is available at this address.
