the family meets in London in the first trailer for the fifth part

This Tuesday, November 4, Pathé studios unveiled the first trailer for “God Save The Tuche,” the fifth installment of the franchise, in theaters on February 5.

Fries and tea on offer. The first images of the fifth part of Tuche called “God save The Tuche” were revealed this Tuesday. In this new opus, the first directed by Jean-Paul Rouve – who succeeds Olivier Baroux behind the camera of the four previous films – the Tuche family this time packs their bags, heading to Great Britain.

Indeed, according to the storyline of this fifth film in the franchise, Jiji, the grandson of Jeff and Cathy, is selected for a football camp at Arsenal, thus offering the perfect opportunity for the whole family to discover England. and meet the royal family there.

But in case there was any doubt as to their new destination, Jeff Tuche, obviously still played by Jean-Paul Rouve, launches a little game on the screen. “Guess where we’re going?”, he asks the spectators, before revealing with the schoolboy humor peppered with puns and funny situations that make the success of the franchise, a series of “clues” with numerous replicas that hit the mark.

A success in every aspect

And it’s all there. Harry Potter, changing of the Guard or even stuffed sheep’s bellies are featured in this first teaser, which obviously brings together the entire original cast, Isabelle Nanty, Claire Nadeau, Sarah Stern and Pierre Lottin.

For the record, the first part of “Tuche” was released in 2010, before giving rise five years later to “Tuche 2 – The American Dream” where the family embarked for the United States, followed by Tuche 3 and 4 in 2017 and 2020. With the result, popular success which has never wavered.

The new opus is expected in French theaters on February 5.
