Another speaker highlighted the JRS Welcome network in Clermont-l’Hérault, which helps asylum seekers in their procedures, thus offering some concrete avenues of action.
A diverse place to live

With its three labels of excellence, cinema is not content with quality arthouse programming; it has been diversifying and enriching its offering for several years. Thanks to the Les amis du cinéma collective, which actively participates in the programming, a series of regular meetings promise spectators to broaden their cinematic horizons. Whether they are surprise favorites, thematic weeks, film meetings or previews, there is no shortage of initiatives. In November, a Lebanese meal will even be included in the documentary programming.
The imagination of Frédéric Lecomte and his team is in full swing, with a major project in preparation. “We are testing several formulas which will then be proposed in the future structure planned for 2026“, he indicates. This enthusiast is already planning on the four rooms which should accommodate 110,000 entries, compared to 60,000 currently, a figure already very satisfactory for a single screen.
