This Wednesday, April 24, 2024 marks an important date for home cinema lovers in , with a series of highly anticipated releases in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray. Here is an overview of the major editions of the day, some of them having literally set the web on in recent weeks.

The big event: Abyss in 4K

The most anticipated release is undoubtedly that ofAbyssJames Cameron’s science fiction masterpiece released in 1989. Until now absent from Blu-ray shelves, this film was terribly missing from the catalog. See our full test here.

Titanic (1997): A Limited Collector’s Edition

Wonka (2024) in Steelbook and VF Atmos

The film “Wonka”, directed by Paul King with Timothée Chalamet, offers a rereading of the famous tale by Roald Dahl. The 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Steelbook release, scheduled for today, includes a French version in Dolby Atmos. Test to come.

Lolita Despite Me (20th Anniversary): A Comedy Classic

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of “Lolita Despite Me”, a special edition in 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray is released. This film, directed by Mark Waters and written by Tina Fey, continues to captivate with its acerbic humor and memorable characters. Test to come.

The Samurai (1967): A Masterpiece in Individual Edition

“Le Samouraï”, the classic of French cinema directed by Jean-Pierre Melville, is now available in individual edition from Pathé.
