MotoGP: Lorenzo Savadori and Aprilia extend their collaboration for two years

The extension of Lorenzo Savadori as Aprilia test rider for the 2025 and 2026 seasons is a decision that is part of the continuity of the sporting project of the Noale brand. This announcement confirms the essential role played by the Italian in the development of RS-GP.

Lorenzo Savadori extended his contract with
Aprilia Racing for a further two years, guaranteeing his role as test driver and official replacement until fin 2026. This announcement, which occurred almost simultaneously with the signing d’Augusto Fernandez at Yamahafurther strengthens the RS-GP development program under the leadership of Massimo Rivola.

Savadoriaged 31 years, continues to embody stability and continuity withinAprilia Racing. Since joining the team in 2015 after winning the Superstock 1000 title, he has progressed through the Superbike development ranks before becoming a MotoGP test rider in
2020.

Rival did not fail to salute the strategic importance of this collaboration: “ we are proud to confirm that Aprilia Racing will continue the collaboration with Lorenzo Savadori, one of the pillars of our projectwhich, together with the testing team, has enabled the exceptional development of recent years. »

In addition to its behind-the-scenes testing, Savadori
will continue to provide replacements in the event of injury and will participate in several wild-card races. In 2024, he took part in seven Grand Prixincluding four successive replacements of Miguel Oliveirahurt. Although he did not score any points in these appearances, his main role remained that of a development driver focused on experimenting with new technical solutions.
