MotoGP crash ranking, Acosta champion, Quartararo bad (good) student!

If we already knew that Pedro Acosta was the leader in the number of crashes, in MotoGP we did not know who his pursuers were. It’s now done! Indeed, the list of drivers and the number of crashes suffered by each of them has been revealed. And behind the “champion” of the Tech3 team, the Marquez brothers have lived up to their reputation! Since Marc is second in this hierarchy, ahead of Alex.

And contrary to popular belief, Francesco Bagnaia is not one of those who fell the most. On the other hand, he is the one who most often fell in crucial moments, during the race. Hence his failure this year, against Jorge Martin, crowned MotoGP world champion during the last round of the season, in Barcelona.

Concerning our tricolors, Johann Zarco fell 15 times, less than Joan Mir (17 falls), well placed in the ranking of bad students. But it is much more than Takaaki Nakagami (7 falls) and Luca Marini (only 4 falls). For his part, Fabio Quartararo is in the second part of the table, with nine falls. That is, the same number as Pecco Bagnaia and less than Jorge Martin (as many falls as JZ5). Note also that these falls are generally very expensive for KTM.
