last pole of the season for Pecco Bagnaia, the starting grid

Summary of qualifications

For this last qualifying session of this 2024 MotoGP season, it was Francesco Bagnaia who took pole position in 1:38:641, with a lead of +0.055 over Aleix Espargaro second and Marc Marquez third. The Aprilia rider put in a magnificent performance for his final Grand Prix of his career, as a starter.

For Jorge Martin, things are looking gloomy around the Pramac garage. The Madrilenian found himself second behind the leader, he set the fourth time of the session, just ahead of his teammate, Franco Morbidelli. For our French drivers, Fabio Quartararo and Johann Zarco finished tenth and eleventh, at the bottom of the standings. The pace of the tenors increased a notch in the last minutes, impossible to do better for the Japanese motorcycles.
