The season finale in Barcelona on November 17

Canceled due to deadly floods that hit the region, the Valencia Grand Prix will be replaced by an event in Barcelona. This will take place on the same dates (November 15-16-17).

Excerpts from the Dorna Sports press release:

MotoGP can now confirm that the 2024 season finale will be held in Barcelona. We will return to the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, where the World Championship will be played, on the original dates of the season finale: November 15-17. The Grand Prix will be held in solidarity with the Valencia region.

The event was previously due to take place in Valencia before the devastating floods which hit the region so heavily. Being the last Grand Prix of the season, given the sporting context in which the Championship takes place and the positive impact of the event, we owe it to our fans, to our paddock, to the sport and to Valencia to organize the 'event.

Instead of racing in Valencia, MotoGP will race for Valencia. For all those affected and the entire Valencia region.

MotoGP asked the authorities to race in Barcelona because it was the best possible choice. The track is the easiest option for fans who were already planning to attend the MotoGP season finale. The location and circuit are also the most efficient choice, providing the best alternative for personnel and logistics.

We remain true to our mission to make a positive impact on people, places and the planet wherever we run. In this case, racing near the Valencian Community will also allow the paddock to put this into practice even more directly.

Further information for fans looking to witness the battle for the 2024 title will be shared as soon as possible, as well as the different initiatives that will take place throughout the weekend to support Valencia.
