JuniorGP Aragon J3: Carlos Cano is crowned ETC champion while the other struggles will continue in Valencia.

After a spectacular day of racing during the 6th round at MotorLand Aragon, the FIM JuniorGP™ World Championship celebrated its first Champion in the person of the young Carlos Cano (SeventyTwo Artbox Racing Team), aged 14, who, with his sixth victory in the last eight races, captured the European Talent Cup crown with one race remaining, as the battle for the title continues in the JuniorGP™, Moto2™ ECh and Stock™ ECh categories for a final confrontation in Valencia.

In the JuniorGP™ category, Alvaro Carpe (STV Laglisse Racing) put in an impeccable performance to take victory from second place on the grid and move closer to the title.

Joining Alvaro Carpe on the JuniorGP™ podium, Estrella Galicia 0,0 team teammates, Maximo Quiles (Team Estrella Galicia 0.0) et Casey
O’Gorman
(Team Estrella Galicia 0,0), engaged in a breathtaking battle. Brian Uriarte
(SeventyTwo Artbox Racing Team) failed to capitalize on the pole position he had secured in difficult conditions on Saturday, ultimately finishing fifth.

In race 1 of Moto2 European Championship™, Alberto Ferrandez (Finetwork Team) achieved a very first victory in the category.

Eric Fernandez (Fau55 Tey Racing), which reaches the podium for the first time in its history, its previous best result being P5, and Alberto Surra
(Team Ciatti-Boscoscuro) are also in the leading trio of the first Moto2™ ECh race in Aragon.

On the French side, John Gimbert
(Promoracing) finished 12th, while Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing) 15e.

In the second race of Moto2™ ECh, Roberto Garcia took another victory to maintain his title race, starting from P10 on the grid.

Following Roberto Garcia on the Moto2™ ECh Race 2 podium,
Unai Orradre (STV Laglisse Racing) et
Alberto Surrawho, with a double podium in Aragon, offered himself a fifth rostral of the 2024 campaign so far.

On the French side, John Gimbert
(Promoracing) finished 10th, while Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing) 13e.

In the first race of theEuropean Talent
Cup
of the day, Giulio Pugliese
(CFMoto Aspar Team) sealed the 25 points.

Marco Morelli (MLav Racing) et Carlos Canothen rivals in the championship, found themselves second and third respectively, the Argentine driver narrowly winning, while the Vietnamese driver
Luca Agostinelli (Team Echovit Pasini Racing) finished sixth, somewhat to everyone’s surprise, even if it was welcome.

On the French side, Enzo Bellon (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) is doing the best, 8th at 2 seconds: very solid!

In the second race, it is Carlos Cano who did the work to capture the title.

Race 2 of the ETC gave rise to a constant battle in the final laps, David Gonzalez
(AC Racing Team) finishing second for an incredible seventh podium of the year, while Marco Morelli was unable to maintain the title fight in what was a commendable campaign from the MLav Racing driver, ultimately finishing third.

On the French side, Enzo Bellon (Team Estrella Galicia 0,0) finished 9th, 5 seconds behind the winner, after fighting with
Valentin Perrone (Frando Racing VHC Team) which will be in the World Cup at Tech3 next year…

Everything else will be decided in Valencia on November 24, with three Championships still to be decided at the Circuito Ricardo Tormo. Until then, you can also find all the results, videos, photos and information regarding the championship on the official website: www.fimjuniorgp.com
