MotoGP, Japan, Fabio Quartararo: “we are seeing some improvements, so the atmosphere is good”

Fabio Quartararo arrives at Motegi with the ambition to do better than his recent performances. After finishing in seventh place in the last three races at Misano, Misano 2, and Mandalika, the Yamaha rider hopes to continue his progress at the Japanese Grand Prix, an important milestone for him and the team, being the National Grand Prix from Yamaha.

« After a generally positive weekend in Indonesia, we are in Japan for the Yamaha National GP,” commented Quarterlybefore adding: “ The last few race weekends have been positive. We are seeing some improvements, so the mood is good. »

Although he has only raced at Motegi three times in MotoGP, with a second place in 2019 as his best result, Fabio Quartararo
seems optimistic about his chances of improving his results this season.

The pilot, nicknamed “El Diablo”, feels inspired by the environment in Japan, where he had the opportunity to visit iconic places linked to Yamaha :
« I like going to Japan, also because I can make additional trips. It’s always great to see famous local attractions and Yamaha employees. This time we visited Yamaha Music, Yamaha’s innovation center and E-Ride base. It was great to see the enthusiasm of all the employees. »
