First title shot for Alonso

David Alonso has a first chance to be crowned Moto3 world champion this weekend in Motegi, Japan. To do this, he must leave the Grand Prix with a 100-point lead over his opponents.

There will indeed remain 100 points to be taken at the end of the Motegi weekend. In the event of a tie at the end of the season, Alonso is guaranteed to be champion because the tie will be based on the number of victories, and he will have more than his rivals (already 9 on the clock, a figure that cannot be made up for ).

To be titled in Japan, the Colombian must score 3 points more than Daniel Holgado. He can also afford a maximum of 5 points on Ivan Ortola and 7 on Collin Veijer.
