MotoGP Indonesia – Warm-Up: Jorge Martin the fastest

The big Sunday of the long race begins on the Mandalika track which hosts the Indonesian Grand Prix, the first round of the long MotoGP Asian tour. During an eventful Sprint, Jorge Martin lost twelve points compared to Pecco Bagnaia, and therefore intends to take his revenge as soon as the lights go out at around 9:00 a.m. Before embarking on a fierce competition, however, you must warm up well. And that’s the role of this ten-minute Warm-Up.

Before we begin, here is the table which summarizes the facts known so far:

The exercise begins at a very early hour in Europe, although this Sunday’s important sessions will take place at more lenient times, with the drivers preparing to compete in the 27 laps that make up the long race at 9:00 a.m.

For now, it’s sunny in Mandalika, and the drivers are opening the track this Sunday with ten minutes of driving.

Everyone is busy in the VR46 garage, while it is time for Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio to ride in new colors, the Italian team having chosen to pay homage to the origins of its title sponsor, Pertemina Enduro .

During the first attempts, Jorge Martin recorded a mark of 1:31.022 which allowed him to claim the lead in the ranking, ahead of Fabio Quartararo (1:31.316), and Fabio Di Giannantonio (1:31.658).

When the No. 89 was completing his best lap, Alex Marquez had a much less pleasant Warm-Up which began with a fall.

Revenge this Sunday, the Pramac driver continues with an attempt completed in 1:30.749. This will not be enough to finish the session in the lead, since three of his competitors improve before the checkered flag. The Spaniard then responds one last time in 1:30.511, to erase the time established by Marc Marquez a few seconds earlier in 1:30.561.

Franco Morbidelli, Pedro Acosta and Raul Fernandez complete a top-5 which is held by only two tenths.
