This week, the intermediate class of the world speed championships accompanies MotoGP to Indonesia to begin a five-event Asian tour. A challenge for the drivers and teams who were still in Misano a few days ago. In the championship, Ai Ogura concludes the discipline’s move to Europe, demonstrating exemplary consistency. He is now 22 points ahead of his closest pursuer and teammate, Sergio Garcia.

The FP begins in Mandalika, and the two main players in the Emile Romagna Grand Prix are there. Aron Canet and Tony Arbolino quickly promoted themselves to the front, and began to compete for the top of the rankings. The reference mark thus falls more quickly, and the drivers take their marks to improve by a few tenths in just a few loops.
During his seventh attempt, after fifteen minutes of driving, Tony Arbolino asserted his status as leader with a time of 1:35.029, which allowed him to get closer to the lap times achieved by the best drivers last year.
The Italian, who remembers the mistake he made on the last lap last week as he prepared to triumph in front of his home crowd, continues. Fifteen minutes from the end of the allotted time, he is already faster than Manuel Gonzalez last year in FP (1:34.871), with a time of 1:34.722. Aron Canet and Fermin Aldeguer will also soon post a time under 35 minutes, to preserve the suspense in this session.
Remaining discreet at the start of FP, Somkiat Chantra then puts on the show. The Thai sets his pace, and quickly sets a mark in 1:34.239 to warn his rivals. The tireless Tony Arbolino, however, returned to the charge, to answer the future Honda driver in 1:34.229.
Before the checkered flag, however, it was Fermin Aldeguer who made the difference, with the first time of the weekend placed under the 34 minute mark in Moto2.
