The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that the first of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 AH will fall on the day after tomorrow, Thursday, while the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet will fall on Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, 1446 AH, corresponding to September 16, 2024 AD.

The ministry stated, in a statement, that it monitored the crescent of Rabi’ al-Awwal 1446 AH, after sunset on Tuesday, corresponding to September 3, 2024 AD, and it was confirmed that it was not sighted.

The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs informs citizens that it observed the crescent of the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal for the year 1446 AH, after sunset on Tuesday, Safar 29, 1446 AH, corresponding to September 3, 2024 AD. It contacted all the representatives of Islamic affairs in the Kingdom, and the units of the Royal Armed Forces contributing to the observation of the crescent, and they all confirmed to it that it was not sighted. Accordingly, the month of Safar will have completed thirty days, and the first of Rabi’ al-Awwal will be Thursday, September 5, 2024 AD, and the Eid al-Mawlid will be Monday, Rabi’ al-Awwal 12, 1446 AH, corresponding to September 16, 2024 AD. May God bring this blessed month and the Eid al-Mawlid al-Nabawi al-Sharif to our Master, the Commander of the Faithful and Protector of the Nation and Religion, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God grant him victory with goodness, goodness, and blessings, and to his Crown Prince, His Royal Highness the Noble Prince Moulay El Hassan, and his happy brother, His Royal Highness the Glorious Prince Moulay Rachid, and all May the members of the Royal Family be happy and content, and may the Moroccan people and the entire Islamic nation be advanced and prosperous.
