The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, received, this Tuesday, a phone call from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
According to a statement from the ministry, “the meeting provided an opportunity to review the developments of the Palestinian issue in light of the continuation of the war of annihilation committed by the Zionist occupation in the Gaza Strip and its extension to the West Bank by the occupation authorities and the Zionist settlers as part of a comprehensive process of liquidation, occupation and expansion.”
Also, the same source indicates, the two ministers also discussed “the prospects for strengthening Arab and Islamic action in the face of these growing challenges and the mobilization of the international community to defend the legitimacy that it has recognized in the creation of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state as a just, lasting and definitive solution to the Israeli-Arab conflict.”
