For the Royal Moroccan Football Federation’s page, young Adam Aznou, a player for Bayern Munich, expressed the feelings he felt when he learned that he was called up to join the Moroccan national team.
During the first training session of the Lions, the young Aznou said: “My parents are the ones who told me about the invitation from the national team. I wanted to listen to the seminar directly and experience that wonderful moment, but I was committed to training. I am happy and my family is happy with this invitation. It is an honor for me to be with these players.”
Regarding the atmosphere he found in the Moroccan national team camp, Adam Aznou said: “It was very nice. I liked the situation. I found myself among great players. We were all playing good football, which is what everyone wishes to see.”
Regarding the reception that the Lions gave him: “From the beginning, they embraced me. There are many players who speak Spanish and this makes things easier for me. I am the youngest of them, so they take care of me and I am very happy about this.”
Regarding the Olympic team that won the bronze medal in Paris, Aznou said: “They deserve to win the medal. They played well and made us all happy. This victory confirms that Moroccan football is moving forward.”
At the end of his interview, Aznou sent a message to the Moroccan fans: “Thank you for your support. We were all waiting for you in Agadir. God willing, you will bring us some profit.”
