On the eve of its entry into the Under-20 World Cup, the Women’s National Team carried out its last training session this Saturday, August 31, in the evening, before facing Paraguay this Monday.
Under the leadership of national coach Jorge Vilda, the Atlas Lions, with a full squad, carried out their final training session at the Campestre Farallones training field before their first match against Paraguay.
Motivated and serene, the protégés of the Spanish technician are focused on their subject. The training session focused on technical and tactical aspects.
For six weeks, the Atlas Lions underwent intensive preparation, playing seven warm-up matches. They finished with a 2-0 victory against Fiji at the start of last week.
The U20 Women’s World Cup is the last FIFA women’s tournament in which the Kingdom has not yet participated. The Moroccan women’s teams made their debut at the U17 World Cup in 2022 and the senior World Cup in 2023.
As a reminder, the U20 women’s national team will be tested starting this Monday, September 2, against Paraguay. They will then challenge the USA on the 5th, before closing the group stage against Spain on the 8th of the same month.
