Locally heavy thunderstorms (30-60 mm) are scheduled for Monday, October 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. in the provinces of Midelt, Tinghir and Errachidia, announces the General Directorate of Meteorology in an “orange” alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon is expected on Monday from noon to 11 p.m. in the provinces of Taounate, Taza, Tetouan, Beni Mellal, Ifrane, Khenifra, Boulemane, Sefrou, Azilal, Moulay Yacoub, Al Haouz, Al Hoceima, Ouarzazate, Chefchaouen, Fez and Figuig.
Furthermore, locally strong gusts of wind (70/85 km/h) are announced in Figuig, Jerada, Guercif, Taourirt, Boulemane and Midelt, the same day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
