The Chairman Emeritus of Tata Sons and philanthropist, Ratan Tata’s death on Wednesday night at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital has sparked an outpouring of tributes from prominent Indian personalities.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, businessman Gautam Adani, and industrialist Anand Mahindra are just a few of the notable figures who have expressed their sadness and condolences.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said, “He selflessly dedicated his life to the development of our nation. Every time I met him, his zeal and commitment to the betterment of Bharat and its people amazed me.”

“India has lost a giant, a visionary who redefined modern India’s path. Ratan Tata wasn’t just a business leader – he embodied the spirit of India with integrity, compassion and an unwavering commitment to the greater good. Legends like him never fade away. Om Shanti,” said businessman Gautam Adani on social media platform X.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid a heartfelt tribute to Ratan Tata, describing him as a giant in Indian industry, renowned for his immense contributions to India’s economy, trade, and industry. Singh expressed his deepest sympathies to Tata’s loved ones, friends, and admirers, wishing his soul eternal peace .
