Rafik Saïfi, legend of Algerian football, recently spoke about the impressive progress of Hicham Boudaoui, midfielder for OGC Nice. In a confident statement, Saifi said it was time to see Boudaoui become a key player for the Algerian national team, stressing that the latter now had enough experience to establish himself as an indisputable starter.
“Hicham Boudaoui is no longer a young player lacking experience. He has shown impressive qualities since his arrival in Europe, and especially this season where he has made a fantastic start with Nice. This is the time to trust him and permanently integrate him into the starting lineup for the national team,” said Saïfi.
Since the start of the 2024-2025 season, Boudaoui has distinguished himself in Ligue 1 with high-level performances. Whether in recovering the ball or in offensive animation, he showed a maturity and regularity which did not escape the eye of observers.
