Emmanuel Macron has not announced his decision, follow the political back-to-schools

After more than a week of consultations with the political forces represented in the National Assembly, Emmanuel Macron had not yet, on Saturday morning, August 31, announced the personality he wanted to appoint to Matignon. The President of the Republic, returning from a two-day visit to Serbia, could speak at the end of the weekend or early next week.

At the same time, the last weekend of August is an opportunity for several political parties to make their summer returns. Several events are planned for Saturday, including:

• the Socialist Party summer universities, still ongoing in Blois;
• the political return of François Ruffin and his Picardie debout! party in the commune of Flixecourt (Somme);
• the departmental structures of the presidential party Renaissance in Paris, Seine-et-Marine and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes will receive a visit from Gabriel Attal, resigning Prime Minister and President of the parliamentary group in the National Assembly;
• The contested president of the Republicans, Eric Ciotti, now allied with the National Rally, is making his political comeback in Levens, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
