First Moroccan medal in the Paralympic Games

Morocco has finally succeeded in winning its first medal in the Paralympic Games currently being held in France.

Runner Ayman El Hadaoui won Morocco the bronze medal in Para Athletics, after taking third place in the 100m T47 race, recording a time of 10.78.

Morocco is represented by 38 athletes in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, which will be hosted by the French capital, Paris, between August 28 and September 8.

Moroccan champions will compete in athletics (physical and visual impairment), wheelchair tennis (physical impairment), powerlifting (short stature), para-taekwondo, road cycling and futsal for the blind.
