Regragui changes Morocco’s lineup
Despite Morocco’s 4-1 win over Gabon in the opening match of the qualifiers on Saturday, Moroccan coach Walid Regragui confirmed his intention to make changes to his team’s lineup in order to give new players a chance against Lesotho.
Regragui expressed his satisfaction with the level his team showed, explaining, “I am satisfied with the team’s offensive performance, but we gave the opponent many opportunities to score against us, and this is due to the changes we made in the defensive line.”
He added, “The players have not yet reached their full physical readiness, because they are at the beginning of the season. The level will be better in the upcoming matches.”
