Warning Bulletin: Expect thunderstorms accompanied by hail and wind in these areas

The Directorate explained, in an orange alert warning bulletin, that these thunderstorms are expected today from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in all the prefectures and provinces of Al Haouz, Figuig, Azilal, Tinghir, Ouarzazate and Errachidia.

The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in the Anti-Atlas, the southeast, and within the southern regions, with raindrops accompanied by thunder locally.

The weather is also expected to be relatively hot in the Souss region, and in the southeast and far south of the southern regions.

Low clouds will form, during the morning and night, on the phosphate plateaus and near the coasts, with the spread of fog banks locally, and somewhat strong winds blowing in the eastern region and on the central and southern coasts.

As for the minimum temperatures, they will range between 12 and 17 degrees in the High and Middle Atlas and the Rif, and between 24 and 30 degrees in the southern regions and the southeast of the country, the Anti-Atlas, Chiadma, and within the Souss region, while they will be between 16 and 22 degrees in the rest of the Kingdom.

Temperatures will rise during the day in the Souss region.

The sea will be calm to slightly rough on the Mediterranean coast and the Strait, rough to very rough between Mahdia and Tarfaya, and slightly rough to rough on the rest of the coasts.
