The statistics budget reaches 1 billion and 460 million dirhams, and these are the questions that will be directed to families – Al-Youm 24

The general population and housing census in Morocco will start from September 1 to 30, with the participation of 55,000 researchers trained by the High Commission for Planning, and with a budget of 1.46 billion dirhams, of which 790 million dirhams are for compensation of human resources that will participate in the census, according to what was revealed by the administrative and financial director of the High Commission for Planning.

A set of questions will be directed to Moroccan families through two forms:
The first is a short questionnaire containing questions directed to the entire population about demographic structures, international migration, death events, housing stock, and the distance between the dwelling and basic facilities in the rural environment such as roads, educational and health institutions.
The second is a long questionnaire that includes, in addition to the questions in the short questionnaire, questions directed to a sample of 20% of families, on topics related to fertility, health difficulties encountered when practicing normal activities, internal migration, illiteracy, education, economic activity, work commuting, and family housing conditions, in addition to new topics related to health coverage, use of information and communication technology, and the environment.
Ahmed Al-Halimi, the High Commissioner in charge of planning, said in a press conference yesterday that the census process has nothing to do with the support that the state provides to needy families, adding that the census information also has nothing to do with tax administration and will not be used for purposes other than the objectives for which it was set, which is to know the development of the population and social and economic data.

Morocco was divided into 38,000 statistical areas, including housing and economic activities, and the census was adopted electronically for the first time.
The researchers were provided with 55,000 electronic boards to record data and send it directly from different regions of Morocco to the statistics center at the High Commission for Planning.
