Mohamed El-Meniawy, a Paralympic weightlifter, won the gold medal and first place in the Paralympic Games held in Paris.
Al-Meniawy won the 59 kg weight category, after successfully lifting weights of 194, 198, and 201.
Al-Minyawi’s medal is the first for the Paralympic mission in Paris, and it is also Al-Minyawi’s first participation in the Paralympic Games.
Al-Meniawy outperformed his competitors from China, Estonia, El Salvador and Iran.
