Sunday of passion for the circulation of trains. A fault caused theHigh Speed Between Roma e Napoli, creating chaos and delays even an hour and a half.
Delayed trains: the reason
Big inconvenience for those who set off on the high-speed train in the afternoon of Sunday 29 September. From the hours 15 in fact they are strong slowdowns, delays and changes of path due to a broken down to the power line between Salone e Labico, in the province of Rome.
The technicians intervened but traffic remained paralyzed for hours on the route between Rome and Naples.

High Speed in haywire: arrival stations change
Trenitalia informs that high-speed trains can record a longer time mileage until 80 minutes and be routed on the lines conventionalthen slower, go Formia and away we go Cassino.
But that’s not all because they could be modified also some of the stations I arrive of these convoys: some trains, around 5pm, were stopped at Tiburtinainstead of a Rome Termini.
The company has confirmed that some trains will not stop at Rome Termini. “Passengers departing from Rome Termini can use the first useful trains managed by Trenitalia customer service staff, while passengers heading to Rome Termini can use the first useful trains from Rome Tiburtina”, this is the press release.
Which trains are late: the info
Trenitalia also recommends consulting its online site and using the “look for train” to have updates in real time on the status of the trip.
Among the trains experiencing the most delays – beyond the 80 minutes – include:
- FR 9587 from Turin Porta Nuova to Reggio Calabria;
- FR 9535 from Torino Porta Nuova to Napoli Centrale;
- FA 8315 from Rome Termini and Lecce;
- FA 8319 between Rome Termini and Benevento;
- FR 8343 between Rome Termini and central Naples.
In the late afternoon Trenitalia announced that the intervention – made necessary for checks techniques – has concluded and therefore circulation will resume regular. Monday 30 September will also be complicated for the students travel. In fact, one is announced strike by the Uil Trasporti and Orsa unions which will affect the connections of Trenorth.
