Since then, the man who has been in office as mayor of the city of Troyes since 1995 has found love again with his deputy at the town hall, responsible for finances and school affairs. This Saturday, September 14, François Baroin married Stéphanie Lochard, a pharmacist by profession and aged 45, at the town hall of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, in a small group. At 59, François Baroin is the mayor of Troyes, but also president of Troyes Champagne Métropole and president of Barclays France. He was Minister of the Budget, Public Accounts, Civil Service and State Reform between March 2010 and June 2011, Minister of Finance, Economy and Industry under the presidency of Nicolas Sarkozy between June 2011 and May 2012, but had already been part of the government under Jacques Chirac (Minister of Overseas Territories from June 2005 to May 2007 and Minister of the Interior and Regional Planning for barely two months the same year). His new wife, Stéphanie Lochard, was a candidate for Les Républicains in the 2022 legislative elections.
