After scoring the first points with its first medals the day before, the Moroccan delegation is preparing for a busy day of competitions. Here is the complete program of the Moroccan athletes for this Saturday, August 31.

Para-Taekwondo

At 10:26, Rachid Ismaili Alaoui enters the competition for his 8th final (K44, 80kg) against the Kazakh Nurlan Dombayev. Later, at 11:10, Rajae Akermach (K44, 65kg) will face the Thai Jiraporn Wongsuwan at the same stage of the competition.

Wheelchair tennis

Samira Benichi, who is competing in the women’s draw, will begin her first round at 11am against Frenchwoman Ksenia Chasteau. On Friday, she lost in the women’s doubles with Najwa Awane against Chinese players Guo Luoyao and Wang Ziying. Najwa Awane will face Israeli player Maayan Zikri at 12pm. At the same time, the pair Lhaj Boukartacha-Said Himam will also be on the court to face English players Dahnon Ward and Ben Bartram.

Athletics

For the record, Morocco currently occupies 37th position in the medals table, following the bronze medals won by Aymane El Haddaoui in the 100m (T47) and Ayoub Adouich in para-taekwondo (K44).
