Two teenagers arrested on suspicion of stabbing 13-year-old boy to death

Three people have been arrested in the UK in recent days on suspicion of involvement in the death of a 13-year-old boy who was found stabbed last Thursday.

Two teenagers were arrested on Sunday, September 1st in the United Kingdom, suspected of being involved in the murder of Jahziah Coke. This 13-year-old boy was found stabbed last Thursday in a home in Oldbury, in central England.

“Two teenagers arrested on Sunday night have been charged with Jahziah’s murder. They cannot be named for legal reasons,” West Midlands Police said in a statement on Tuesday.

Jahziah Coke died of his injuries on Thursday, despite emergency services’ attempts to save him.

A man also arrested

A third person has also been arrested by police, a man in his forties, on suspicion of assisting the perpetrators. All three people arrested are due to appear before magistrates in Birmingham on Tuesday. “At this stage we are not seeking anyone else in connection with our investigation,” the force said in a statement.

They are calling on anyone who may have information about these events, including CCTV footage, to come forward.

The mother of the slain teenager was quoted by police as saying that “Jahziah was a very polite, kind and family-oriented young man.” “He was very loving and always smiling. His smile lit up the room. He had a big heart,” she said.
