PSG wins in Lille and continues its flawless run

PSG obtained their third victory in as many matches, Sunday at the end of the 3rd day of Ligue 1 on the LOSC pitch (1-3).

Almost without trembling. Paris Saint-Germain won on the pitch of another team qualified for the Champions League, Lille, at the end of the 3rd day of Ligue 1 on Sunday (1-3). The team coached by Luis Enrique, the only one in the championship to have won all three of its matches, thus takes the lead in the standings ahead of Olympique de Marseille.

It took until the half-hour mark for PSG to unlock the game, with a penalty caused by Ousmane Dembélé against the northern defender Alexsandro. With composure, Vitinha opened the scoring (31st, 0-1) and showed the way to the Parisians. Bradley Barcola, launched by Marco Asensio, went to adjust Lucas Chevalier with a shot placed with his right, leaving behind an overwhelmed Lille defense (36th, 0-2).

Lille thought they had equalized

In control, Paris had opportunities to increase the score. Chevalier had his work cut out for him against Asensio (52nd) or Barcola (53rd), and allowed LOSC to provide suspense at the Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre Mauroy. Edon Zhegrova, with a long-range shot after a few dribbles, warmed up the atmosphere (77th, 1-2). In the process, the Dogues thought they had equalized after a combination on a free kick, but Tiago Santos’ goal was disallowed for a slight offside (81st).

Bruno Genesio’s players have never been so close to hanging on to the reigning French champion. In added time, Désiré Doué got the better of Thomas Meunier on the left before a precise cross for another substitute, Randal Kolo Muani, who headed the ball in (90th + 2, 1-3). Too talented and sure of its strength, PSG continued after its big wins in Le Havre (1-4) and against Montpellier (6-0). Next meeting after the break against another French club that will play in the C1: Stade Brestois.
