Far from the Olympics, team sports turn into a debacle for France

Sitting volleyball, goalball, wheelchair rugby… The defeats are piling up for the various French teams, sometimes by huge margins.

If, during the Olympic Games, France had a great time in team sports, with titles for volleyball players and rugby 7s players in particular, the party was very different during the Paralympics, with defeats piling up in all disciplines, and this before the entry into the competition of the Blues in blind football, Sunday evening, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. After four days of competition, a detailed review of the troops in the (very) tough.

Goalball: France without victory, but in quarters

For the first time, France, as the host country, is participating in the goalball competitions. Unsurprisingly, the group stage has not produced a single victory so far. This will not prevent both teams, men’s and women’s, from playing in the quarter-finals, but it will be against the top nation in the other group. Suffice to say that it would take a miracle to see the last four… Nevertheless, the boys have shown interesting progress.
