The events date back to Saturday December 21, 2024. At 8 a.m., the Ille-et-Vilaine firefighters were called because of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle. The victim, a man 25 ans, was located on the RD137, between Rennes and Saint-Malo, near Vignoc.

He was transported in absolute emergency to the Rennes University Hospital. Unfortunately, the young man did not did not survive his injuries and died on the evening of December 21, authorities announced.

Sunday, December 22, the Hédé-Bazouges gendarmerie brigade launched a call for witnesses.

The gendarmes of the Hédé-Bazouges brigade community, in charge of the investigation, are seeking testimonies from all people with information to provide on the circumstances of this accident and to guide the ongoing investigations.
