Dominik Hasek's turn to criticize the Montreal organization

Kent Hughes was at the Bell Center last night for the Canadiens' game.

It was a return to Montreal for the GM, who spent the last week in Russia to see Ivan Demidov.

The CEO of the CH met the SKA, there were several photos which were published on social networks… And that created a certain controversy.

Seeing Hughes and the leaders of the Canadiens there during wartime went down badly in the eyes of many.

And the last to spit on the Canadian is Dominik Hasek.

The former NHL goaltender, as reported by the TVA Sports site, published a tweet in which we see that he attacks the CH organization.

And he didn't mince his words:

Do you realize that by doing this you are publicizing the Russian imperialist war and crimes and that you will also bear some responsibility for the lost and mutilated human lives? –Dominik Hasek

He does not understand how an organization so rich in its history could have found itself in a similar situation:

It's all starting to get really intense. And the fact that the CH is the first NHL club to send employees on the field to Russia in almost three years (since the start of the war with Ukraine), that adds even more fuel to the fire .

That said, the CH never believed that such a visit would have had this impact on the various social platforms… And the fact that the SKA shared a thousand and one photos as if everyone were friends, that doesn't It doesn't help the cause either.

But ultimately, it's done and we will have to turn the page at some point.

Everyone can understand the circumstances, but it's not as if the Canadiens' leaders went on vacation either.

They went to Russia with one motive (to be able to talk to Ivan Demidov) and that's it.
