In 2013, Maïté lost Serge, born from her union with her husband Jean-Pierre Ordonez, nicknamed Pierrot. Serge died at the age of 52 after battling cancer for several years. This death upset the head of the South-West, who then chose to move away from television sets to devote herself fully to the education of her two granddaughters, Perrine and Camille, now aged 20 and 19.
At the same time, Maïté also gradually removed from his restaurant “Chez Maïté”located in Rion-des-Landes. This absence contributed to the closure of the establishment, which was placed in liquidation before definitively ceasing its activity in 2015.
