A road accident left two dead and three injured early this Sunday morning in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The vehicle was found in a ravine below the road.

Two people died and three others were seriously injured following a road trip this Sunday, December 22 in the town of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt, in Haute-Savoie. The firefighters were alerted early in the morning, around 6:30 a.m., by the system automatic vehicle emergency call, eCall.
Emergency services went to the scene and discovered the car in a ravine, around fifteen meters below the D909 departmental road, at the exit of La Clusaz and in the direction of Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. Around thirty firefighters were mobilized on site to access the vehicle and take care of the five victims.
An initial report shows two men declared dead at the scene of the accident. Three other people, men and women aged between 30 and 48, are in serious condition. These victims are being transported to the Annecy-Genevois hospital center. The emergency response is still underway at the time of publication of this article.
