A fire broke out this Saturday, December 21 around 9 p.m. rue de Charrieres in the town of Perrigny.
Many firefighters from Lons-le-Saunier quickly intervened to try to put out the flames.
Inside, the resident, a lady believed to be around sixty years old, was killed along with her dog. The national police and EDF were also on site.

At 10:50 p.m., many firefighters were still mobilized on the scene. The latter are equipped with gas masks and oxygen bottles.
No less than six vehicles and 23 firefighters were mobilized at the height of the intervention. The circumstances of the tragedy will have to be determined by an investigation.
