“As part of the judicial investigation opened, on November 29, 2024, into the charge of murder by an organized gang, committed on November 20, two individuals, born in 1991 and 1993, were arrested and placed in police custody,” a specified the judicial source, confirming information from Le Parisien.

The victim, aged 47 and born in Algeria, had been identified as Mounir C., known to the courts, the Paris prosecutor's office indicated on November 20.
The victim found in cardio-respiratory arrest
According to the capital's daily on Saturday, one of the two men was the one who strangled Mounir C., while the other drove a vehicle which was used in the attack.

The attack took place at night, rue des Amandiers in the 20th arrondissement, in the east of the capital. Shortly after midnight, Mounir C. was found by firefighters in cardio-respiratory arrest.
The Criminal Brigade had been charged with the investigations by the public prosecutor.
