Maripier Morin burst into tears live on the radio on Rythme

Maripier Morin has now been on the airwaves of RythmeFM for a few months and this is not the first time that one of his interventions has made us shed a few tears. She herself burst into tears on the airwaves of Rythme when she read a letter she wrote to Santa Claus and we bet that several listeners also shed a few tears when hearing her live.

As you will see, many Quebecers will sadly recognize themselves in his letter and it makes us realize the importance that our loved ones have in our lives.

Here is the letter she wrote:

« Dear Santa,

It's Maripier Morin from rue Verbois in Rivière-du-Loup.

I hope you're well.

For several years I was a bit clumsy, but over the last 4 years I think I can say I've been pretty good.

I brush my teeth every night, I try to contribute to my RRSPs, say fewer bad words, and I no longer do drugs. Not at all anymore. That’s already good, isn’t it?

Well, in the past, you spoiled me a lot, I received lots of gifts; gors, beaus, expensive ones, bags, jewelry, big contracts and magazine covers.

I know it was you who sent them to me because secretly I asked you for them on an invisible list that I wrote in my head.

But I have to tell you, Santa, that none of that made me happy.

I had to make my inner journey, to ask myself the right questions, to finally realize that what was going to make me happy was already there, inside me.

This is why this year, I didn't write anything on my list. I want to let you surprise me.

On the other hand, I would need your help to spoil my loved ones. This year Santa Claus wasn't easy. My little brother Raphaël has left us and I tell myself that it is only you who can do something for my family and me to make this time of the year still a little bit magical despite the gaping hole that lives in us.

I would be grateful if you could place all the sweetness you can find under our tree, candy canes made of resilience, candy canes made of courage bread, sweaters warm enough to warm our hearts and love. Also. We never have enough of that.

If you can do this for all the families who are going to spend a first Christmas without a loved one, I tell you that we will be a mean gang to be grateful to you and then to work hard to stay on the nice list this year. next.

Thank you very much Santa Claus.”

Maripier invites Santa Claus to “check Mother Christmas’s things” to find the letter written by his co-host Marie-Ève.

We now bring you the video of Maripier reading his letter while unable to hold back his tears:

What a moving message from Maripier!
