Anamarija Lampic succeeded in part of her bet

“This morning I felt worse. Even in the warm-up, my legs weren't the best. But apparently it was enough for third place.
And then during the standing shot my legs started to shake, I knew that I absolutely had to avoid a 3rd penalty round and I'm happy to have succeeded.
I think I also had very good skis, because even without feeling at my best, I had a very good time.
Finally, the summer's work paid off. I'm really happy. I knew I had taken a few steps forward from last year. For me, this third place is like a gold medal for me, like a victory.
When I finished, I knew I had beaten a lot of girls but I thought I would finish in the Top 10, not on the podium. As for the chase, I know I have little chance, but I will at least be relaxed.” said Anamarija Lampic.
