The parallel prizes for the Carthage Cinematographic Days were announced on Friday, December 20, 2024, at the Media Center of the Cité de la Culture in Tunis.
The event attracted significant media coverage. The jury, composed of Ons Kamoun from Tunisia, Elli Mastorou from Belgium and Ahmed Boughaba from Morocco, awarded the Union of Journalists Prize for Resistance Cinema to the film Les Enfants Rouges, directed by Lotfi Achour. The same jury also awarded the FIPRESCI Prize (International Federation of Cinematographic Press) to the film La Source, directed by Meryam Joobeur.
The jury of the Lina Ben Mhenni Human Rights Prize, composed of Hechmi Ben Frej, Adel Azouni and Fairouz Ben Slama, awarded the prize to the film RESSACS, Une Histoire Touarègue, directed by Intagrist El Ansari.
Finally, the jury of the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), composed of Naceur Sardi, Habib Bel Hedi and Soumaya Bouallegui, awarded their prize to the film The Color of Phosphate, directed by Ridha Tlili.
