Alyssa Gallois, 3rd in the economic excellence prize

The Citéco-Banque de France prize is organized by the Ministry of National Education, Citéco (the City of the Economy), the Bank of France and the IEDOM-IEOM (the Issuance Institute of the Overseas Departments -mer) for final year STMG students.

She applies for major schools

This prize aims to ensure that economic concepts serve as a driving force for their intellectual training. The candidates had to write in four hours a structured reasoning aimed at exploiting documents, comparing them with each other, criticizing them using their knowledge. This year, the subject was the slowdown in French productivity. Four hundred and forty-six copies were evaluated and classified in the Montpellier academy by a commission chaired by the rectorate and bringing together representatives of the Bank of France and teachers of economics and management from the academy.

In the presence of Pascal Tachon, director of the Banque de France of Montpellier, Laurence Remaud, academy inspector-regional educational inspector of economics and management, presented the prizes to the three winners of the Montpellier academy.

Since 2020, this is the fourth time that a student of Valéry Champion, associate professor of economics and business management at the Pompidou high school, has won the economic excellence competition.
