“May the Mazan trial and the torture of Gisèle Pélicot be a shock wave,” urges Gabriel Attal
On the social network X, the former prime minister wrote a long message drawing lessons from the trial which is ending. “Shame has changed sides”welcomes Gabriel Attal, addressing his praise to the victim. “By requesting and obtaining the lifting of the closed session, Gisèle Pélicot made her suffering an act of resistance. His courage, his determination, his thirst for justice are a source of inspiration. They command admiration”. By renouncing the closed session, the victim “came to shake consciences”he judges.
