Here’s where to stock up on gasoline and diesel at the lowest price just before the holidays

Fuel prices at the pump have started to rise again in our stations. All the more reason to find the best price before setting off on vacation.

The fuel budget is always a topic in our country. A debate that becomes even more present when people go on vacation. This will be the case from this Friday, December 21, where the traffic jams expected in the direction of departures will not prevent our fellow citizens from taking to the road, in particular to enjoy the first snow on skis. But, before arriving at their destination, drivers driving a thermal vehicle will necessarily have to go through the service station to refuel. On this Wednesday, December 19, the specialized site combustibles.org indicates that the average price of a liter of diesel in is €1,686 and that of SP95 gasoline is €1,764.

To obtain the lowest prices, choose supermarkets.

However, you can find cheaper, in particular by going to a distribution point managed by a major retailer. On the Diesel side, the site which compares in real time the prices charged in France, indicates per liter at €1,539 at E. Leclerc in Bègles (33)which is at the time of writing the lowest price in our country. Almost everywhere else in France, competitors like Intermarché, Système U or even Auchan sell this liter of Diesel for less than €1.58.

Same observation for the liter of unleaded gasoline 95 with, indicates combustibles.org, the most accessible price found in recent hours at the Intermarché station in Veretz (37) where it is displayed on the totem at the price of €1.64 and €1,669 at Auchan station in Longuenesse (62). You will have understood, before hitting the road these days, compare prices before playing from gun to pump…
