Seventy children, from the small section to CM2, gave free rein to their imagination, and nine of them were awarded prizes, either by the jury or by the public. The jury’s favorite went to Léna, a CE2 student, for her inspiring drawing where the Christmas hero fights all injustices. “A touching and hopeful message”, underlined the jury. Cyrielle, also in CE2, was awarded the jury prize in her category. “I’m happy, there were a lot of candidates so I didn’t expect it. My drawing, “Cat’s eyes: Mission Noël”, represents Robin Hood-style heroines, who steal gifts from bad guys to give them to children.” In the CP category, Olivia also received the jury prize. “This is the first time I have participated in a drawing competition. I am proud to have managed to fill out my entire sheet,” she declared, with a smile on her lips. Her big sister Louise, in CM1, won the public prize. Cécile Gaudru, treasurer of the APE-FCPE, was delighted with the success of the event: “This first experience exceeded our expectations. We will probably repeat it next year.” All the children left with lovely gifts, delighted with their participation. Sacha, Gabriel, Anaia, Pauline and Tayma are also among the winners of this first drawing competition on the theme of Christmas heroines and heroes.
