The deliberation presented by deputy mayor Dominique Vogel decrees the installation of anti-flood barriers on the road area. According to the elected official, “These barriers will close routes where the risk is major, in particular RD 109, 209 and 1009.”
Diversions will be put in place by the municipality, in conjunction with the Department. These barriers will also be used in the event of another event, after agreement with the Department and the issuance of a police order. A measure that many residents and motorists are waiting for, to avoid finding themselves trapped in their car in the middle of the waves.
Photovoltaics for schools
The municipal council also approved photovoltaic installations on the roofs of two school groups in the town. The deliberation was submitted to the vote of elected officials by deputy mayor Marc Combe.

“Sictiam also provides technical and financial support. The cost of the project in the study phase amounts to 149,226 euros including tax and concerns the roofs of the Marie-Curie and Jean-Rostand schools”delivered Florence Simon’s deputy, delegate for education, the environment and external relations.
Finally, still under the leadership of Sictiam, work is planned to extend public lighting on Chemin des Terres-Gastes for 20,301.31 euros including tax. Sictiam will request a grant from the Department for this purpose.
